My partner and 2 year old had a magnificent day out at Longleat for my birthday in June this year and whilst I appreciate that Longleat, being a very popular Southern tourist attraction, has probably been reviewed many times over, we had such a great time I felt the need to add a further review! On arrival, we headed straight to the animal safari part of the complex, which you travel around in your own vehicle. It is situated separately from Longleat house and is very well signposted. The selection of animals themselves, the enclosures they were housed in and the general layout of the safari section was incredible. All of the animals looked very healthy and very well cared for, which is excellent to see. The roadways are wide enough for you to easily stop and take pictures of the animals, without bothering other visitors. All of my family had a wonderful visit and spent several hours here. After finishing at the safari park we headed for Longleat House. This was beautiful and very elegantly laid out. The hedge maze and rose garden were also lovely to wander around. All in all, my family had an incredible day out, and we shall definitely be returning in the not too distant future!

A Whilst the ticket prices are quite high, given the amount to see at Longleat, we feel they definitely represent good value for money and so we would encourage people not to be put off by that.
A No. We took our own food. The grounds of the house are very large and there are many picnic areas available to enjoy your own food.
A Yes. They were clean and adequate.
A The safari park - and seeing Annie the Elephant, a magnificent creature!
