Thames Chase Visitor Centre (Upminster, Essex, UK)

Great Fun

Not just a bunch of trees! There’s a visitor centre with toilets, a small shop and a cafe inside. We visit here all the time as we love bringing a picnic and making a day of it. There is a playground area but much more fun are the different activities on the way round the trail. There are stepping stones, big tubes to crawl through and climb on, a big pyramid like structure called the ants nest to clmb on and in, a fort, a castle and there are a few areas inside the trees where there are giant teepees and you can build dens with logs and branches. There’s a ‘Superworm Trail’ too.
