Over the Easter Weekend
Cadburys and the National Trust have teamed up again this year to hold their brilliant Easter Egg hunts around beautiful Stately Homes, muddy woodlands and mystical lakes. Kids receive a delicious Cadburys treat at the end of the trail. We visited the one at Sudbury Hall last year and it was great fun! Eggtastic!

Spend a fun packed day at Warwick Castle this Easter holiday where you can muddle through time and face fun challenges in the World’s first Horrible Histories adventure maze or enjoy the Horrible Histories: Wicked Warwick Live Stage Show. There's also dressing up, amazing birds of prey displays and the largest working siege machine IN THE WORLD! Egg-tracurricular!
10th – 17th April
The Birmingham Botanical Gardens have fun packed events calendar planned. There’s arts and crafts, meet the animal sessions, and on Easter Sunday they are holding an Easter Egg hunt, chocolate workshop and plenty of outdoor games. They are finishing the festivities with an Easter Bonnet Parade on Monday 17th. Egg-ceptional!

Cadbury World has loads of family entertainment everyday of the holidays with magicians, ventriloquists and plenty of games. Over the Easter weekend they have daily Easter Bonnet competitions and a fab egg hunt around the whole venue. This lovely little art gallery in the centre of Birmingham is holding free Easter Holiday Wall-Paper Workshops where crafty kids can get creative collaging and designing wallpaper inspired by the Jean Painleve exhibition. Have a look at what our Ikon Gallery reviews here. Eggstravagent!

There’s so much going on at the Black Country Living Museum this Easter. Alongside going back in time, kids can take part in an egg hunt across the whole site, traditional egg rolling, arts and crafts and egg and spoon races. M-egg-a!
As always, the Mac in Cannon Hill Park has a packed schedule of performances and workshops over the Easter holidays. At the theatre there’s a performance of Elmer (for little ones) and you can take part in Elmers swamp free activities. On 18th April there's the brilliant First Hippo on the Moon by David Walliams. Under 5s can take part in a feltmaking bugs and butterfies workshop and over 5s can join in the pottery club, make papier mache masks or musical theatre. Egg-Squisite!
